Which Course Version Should I Choose?

Select courses will now be offered in two versions:

  1. Quiz after every lesson
    • Includes a quiz after every lesson
    • Provides immediate, focused feedback
    • Provides real-time feedback to guide instruction and intervention

  2. Unit-level quiz
    • Features ~2 quizzes per unit (every 3–5 lessons)
    • Emphasizes concept consolidation over frequent assessment
    • Allows more instructional flexibility and deeper learning opportunities

Why two formats?
There are two formats to better serve diverse instructional preferences and school models. Teachers and administrators can choose the version that best aligns with their goals.

We recommend selecting the desired version at the outset, as switching formats mid-course can be complex.

What is the difference between the two versions of the courses?

  • One version has a quiz after every lesson. The other version has two quizzes per unit (approximately one quiz every three lessons).
  • The overall content of the quizzes is still the same.

Why would you want to have a quiz after every lesson?

  • Lesson quizzes provide more immediate, actionable feedback to both students and teachers.
  • Each quiz is tightly aligned with the objectives of its specific lesson.
  • Quizzes can serve as an exit ticket after each lesson.

Why would you want to have a quiz every few lessons?

  • Focuses on understanding over frequent testing, allowing time for deeper practice and enrichment.
  • Frees teachers to spend more time on student support and meaningful admin tasks.
  • Helps students consolidate learning across multiple lessons, promoting deeper connections between concepts.
