Learn how to see which lessons use a learning object before making changes, so you understand what will be affected.
1. Edit a lesson in the new lesson editor and open a learning object

Open a lesson in the lesson editor

Find the learning object you want to update
2. Click the edit icon
- To edit, click the pencil icon on the learning object
3. Review the edit overlay

When you click edit, an overlay will appear

This is where you can update the learning object
4. Review the warning before making changes

Scroll to the bottom of the page

Read the warning message that explains changes will update all listed lessons

Use the links to review affected lessons if needed
5. You can also access the Learning Object editor directly from the Manage Learning Objects page.
From your hamburger menu, click Manager Learning Objects
6. Locate the Learning Object you want to edit
- To edit, click the pencil icon
This will take you directly to the Learning Object editor, where the same warning will be shown
7. Save your changes if you agree
- Click Save Changes after reviewing the impact
